Hawaii Part 1

The beginning of our long adventure....it was suppose to start at 7:00 am but we all know that really means 7:30 or 8:00. We tried to take a picture with all of us "girls" in it but then realized that we were all too tired and nasty looking that no picture would please us..so a picture of the road was taken to become a reminder of that long and boring drive. Scratch that, drives with Taryn, Natalie, Kristen and I are never boring. Always filled with laughter and jokes and lots and lots of singing!



Kristen was like a lil kid on Christmas morning when she saw the pool at Christian's and Emily's place. She could not resist jumping in and testing out her awesome goggles.



Christian could not resist throwing Emily into the pool in all of her clothes....little did he know she has a better grip then he thought as he went down with her.

Good Bye Provo and Hello Paradise!!!!



My rad cousin Erin...I love her and it was so fun to spend time with her in the place she has been living for the past six years!!



First day in the sun, yes we are all pretty white but no worries by the end we were looking fine;) Left to Right Alisa, Natalie, Kristen, Taryn and Kinsey!



The last time I saw water this blue was in Rarotonga. It brought back a lot of sweet memories for me living in an incredible place like that for a few months of my young life.



This is only the beginning but I do not have time to do it all in one sitting....so stand by for more to come.

Grandma Verla's Bike

I was so lucky in inherit my Grandma Verla's bike and I totally love it! I ride it everywhere and anywhere possible. It has been kept in great condition, Grandpa says that is because after falling once Grandma refused to ride it ever again. But for me the cool part is riding the bike and feeling like I have a part of my Grandma with me all the time and I hope she knows how much I am enjoying it.....when I ride it my thoughts are turned to her and my other grandparents that I have been blessed with in my life. I am the luckiest!

Do you know this man......

I DO!!! Because today sitting outside of Christian and Emily's place (that is after they got pushed into their pool) Emily spotted the famous CSI Miama Cop!!!! I followed him for a few feet to confirm our suspicions and turned to head back to the apartment in excitement while Taryn and Natalie confirmed to stalk him. My favorite part of the whole experience was when Emily came up to me and was like "hey guys, hey guys...do you know the guy who does the (makes his famous look) from CSI? He just walked by!" her impression of Horatio was classic:) Good times!

Summer Fun!

A fare thee well BBQ for our friend Sean who is California bound now. We are all going to miss him...don't we have a cool looking group of friends, I think YES!


Benefits of a small town we have rad concerts with Scottish men in kilts!

Bonzai Blast is da BOMB! I think every family and college student should invest in one because you can have non-stop fun, and since when should age stop you from enjoying a fun day with a slip-n-slide!

Finals Week

Finals week is back again my life. I cannot wait for the day when this week will not be present in my life anymore but for now that means I attempt to spend countless hours studying for my tests and finishing up final projects and papers etc. It also means I don't eat as much because I tend to forget when I am stressed or really busy but when I do it is always something healthy like fast food or take out. I must say that this week though has started itself out nicely with spending the morning Boating with the fam (including Taryn and Brianne)! So fun! Speaking of which, that reminds me...Taryn is back and it is great to have my best friend back in my life. As we thought back it has been a year now since we have really spent time together. I don't know why but we both keep leaving Utah to do other exciting things but we are finally back together to have the most incredible Senior Year of College known to anyone! Random Blog Post....I think yes! This tends to happen though when you are looking for a distraction from your studying.

I am feeling pretty good....

I am officially a single student again with no children. As much fun as it was "playing mom" for a few days it did make me grateful that kids come one at a time.

PS Mom and Dad and all the other parents out there Kudos! You are incredible and getting 4 kids ready for church means you go there with wet hair and no make-up but as long as the kids look good, you look good:)
